Financial Disclosure

Eads School District is a rural district located in southeastern Colorado.  We have a tradition of high performance not only in the classroom, but also in athletics and community development and entrepreneurial activities.  Our students leave high school with an average of 25 college credits and ready to face either post secondary education or technical job training.  We have a high percentage of students in professional fields and technical fields who are a tribute to the foundations of education they received while a student in the Eads School District.

Aerospace Event

On Thursday, April 27th, approximately 250 students from southeastern Colorado will converge on Eads High School.  Visitors from the STEM and aerospace industries will be on hand to demonstrate the latest technologies in Space, Aviation, Unmanned Air Systems (Drones), Robotics, Cybersecurity, and Advanced Manufacturing (3D Printing).  Numerous displays, vendors, and educational institutions will be on hand to provide information and hand outs. 

The world's largest collection of futuristic displays will be on display in the Future World's Tour truck that will be parked in front of the high school building.

A military Blackhawk helicopter and medical helicopter will be on the football field.

Students will get a chance to fly from the Eads Airport in a Cessna 182 plane.

The event is designed to inspire students for STEM and to dream big about the infinite opportunities they have for careers to improve our world.  Interested entrepreneurs and community members may check in at the registration to visit the displays, vendors, and sessions.

The Eads School Board was presented their award on Friday,
December 5th, at the Colorado School Board Convention in
Colorado Springs.  Marty Miller gave the acceptance speech.

Eads Eagles Mission Statement
Every pupil has the right to receive the best all around education that his/her mental and physical makeup can absorb regardless of the social, economical, religious status or racial background of his/her family.  It is the desire of our schools to furnish an environment for our pupils, which is conducive to mental, physical, and moral development.  We believe that a happy, healthy student today will have a better opportunity to be a good citizen tomorrow.
