Staff will receive twelve (12) days leave each year and may be accumulated to 45 days.  Leave shall be interpreted to mean illness of the employee, illness of the employees’ immediate family, or personal.  When an employee is absent for any reason or reasons other than those approved by the Superintendent, or if the number of leave days have been depleted, their pay will be reduced by a prorated amount of their annual salary for each day absent.


All half-time personnel will be entitled to half-time leave.


Employees may be reimbursed at a rate of $75.00 per unused leave days in excess of 45.  No employee may be reimbursed for days in excess of the amount accumulated in a contract year.
